MAC To the Beach Haul

I hauled a few things from MAC’s To the Beach collection.  Had I known everything was going to sell out the first day I would have bought Sweet & Punchy while I was at it but oh wells. I can’t wait to try everything out! Let me know what you hauled from this collection in the comments!

Click on the pics for full size.

My precious… Marine Life High-light Powder- definitely more of a shimmery coral blush. For some reason it makes me sing “my little pony.”

Hipness blush: a bit pinker and brighter than Instant Chic

Left to right: Beach Bound and Lazy Day. Beach Bound is a pretty peach color that doesn’t turn a horrible orange color on my lips. It’s a very pretty nude type of lip. Lazy Day is almost a glossier more pigmented version of Angel lipstick.

Flurry of Fun lipglass contains teal reflects. Super pretty over lippies!

Disclosure- products featured were bought by yours truly.

MAC Superglass 2010 Summer

I was excited for this collection but then word on the street (Specktra) is that the new superglasses are like gritty sandpaper. I won’t let this stop me for partaking in their glittery goodness. I mean, the glitter is fiber right? Fiber is needed in your diet. Mmmm glitter nom nom nom. Do you like your gloss all crunchy too?

MAC Superglass
U.S. Launch Date: May 6th, 2010

Shattered, decimated, blinded by a fantastic, intergalactic lip light! Just when you thought Dazzleglass was the best-of bright, along comes Superglass, with secret, snowflake-shaped helicone pearls sparkling in three different facets for triple the dazzle! Lips have gone big bang, explosively dimensional, a rare eclipse! Gloss feels slick and sleek on application with no draggy speed bumps, not a hint of grit. A light aroma of vanilla enhances kissability. Extreme innovation that’s a good reflection on MAC and the seductress lucky enough to strike upon it.

MAC Prep For Colour Swatches

Blink and you might have missed MAC’s Prep For Colour Collection. There were so many dupes in this collection that I hauled nada… So unlike me ;-P

As always, click on the photo for full size. Swatched on NW2o skin.

Left to right: Sorcery eyeshadow, Prepped For Glamour eyeshadow, Hey eyeshadow

Just Add Colour lipglass

Prepped for Glamour was a nice color but it was just a less frosty version of Satin Taupe. Hey (hayyyyy) looked exactly like All That Glitters identical twin. Just Add Colour was extremely opaque and for a person who likes bright lippies or has darker skin than moi (which is most everyone). The face products were nice but nothing noteworthy. The brightening serum smelled citrusy and felt light to the touch.

Are you planning on hauling anything from this collection? Let me know in the comments!

My Very Small MAC Lippie Collection

For shits and giggles I thought I’d show off my small MAC lipstick collection. I always enjoy seeing other’s collections, so I figured why not take pics of my used lippies and post them for yall to see 😉 As always, click on the pics to make them larger.

I couldn’t find a couple lippies, but here’s what I’ve got. I’m actually not the biggest fan of MAC lippies. I find Dior, Lancome, Chanel, and YSL to have better formulas. Stay tuned for my much larger eyeshadow collection.
